Dear Reader

Donations are gifts given without return consideration.  It is a gift given, typically to a cause or/and for charitable purposes. A donation may take various forms, including cash, services, new or used goods such as clothing, toiletries, toys, food, vehicles, and emergency or humanitarian aid items. (Wikipedia)

It is also possible to donate in the name of others – by donating in the name of a third party, one makes a gift in honour or in memory of someone or something and made for various reasons, such as holiday gifts, wedding gifts, in memory of somebody who has died, in memory of pets or in the name of groups or associations no longer existing.
Memorial gifts are sometimes requested by the survivors (e.g. "in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Philippi Trust Namibia"), usually directing donations to a charitable organisation for which the deceased was a donor or volunteer, or for a cause befitting the deceased's priorities in life or manner of death. ...A PROJECT YOU COULD CONSIDER SUPPORTING

Building Project Phase II

In 2007 we inaugurated the first phase of our Building, which is our current offices situated off Ara Street, Dorado Park.  The total cost of the project then, was estimated at N$ 1 900 000.00 of which Philippi was successfully awarded N$ 980 000.00 for this phase by Global Fund and building commenced in September 2006.  We took up office of the new premises in April 2007.

The second phase of our building has now become essential to the continuation of our organisational programmes.  Carlo Sprengel Architects has provided us with architectural drawings and an estimated N$ 5 million as estimated by a qualified quantity surveyor is required.  These documents are available from us.

The second phase of our building project comprises of counselling rooms; office space; and additional training facilities!

Should you be interested in partnering with us on this exciting venture, please contact us for a detailed funding proposal.  Contact: Ms Marianne E Olivier (Director) at marianne@philippinamibia.com or Tel: +264 61 259 291
