HIV/AIDS Counselling offered

In the past, if you were diagnosed as HIV positive, it meant you were physically less productive; socially unacceptable because of the stigma; lost self respect or respect from other; had no future; seen as a possible burden on others.

If you progressed to the Advanced HIV stage of the disease you were terminally ill; incapacitated; often rejected; repugnant; a burden; possibly experiencing total hopelessness.

All this is turned around with correct treatment which means better health; a productive lifestyle; being part of the community; respected; a family future; a positive future.
